In this relaxed and interactive session, you’ll learn about olive oil; what is extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) and how it’s made. By exploring some of the myths, misconceptions and marketing tools, we’ll also help you become a more educated consumer. From tree to table, you’ll learn the important role that traceability, chemistry and standards play in the quality of your olive oil. As part of this session, you will have the opportunity to taste several different types of olive oils and gain an appreciation for their sensory attributes. An overview of health related information and state of the art uses for Ultra Premium extra virgin olive oil in the kitchen will complete the journey.
